Anyone taking these painkillers? - Lupus Message Board

Are any of you taking Vioxx or Celebrex for pain relief along with predisone and Methotrexate? I am constantly in pain and hardly get any sleep at night. I have a terrible cough and feel like my lungs are going to collapse. Let me know what has worked for any of you. I am desperate for answers.

I was prescribed Celebrex for SLE... However, I also have asthma, and the Celebrex would precipitate asthma attacks. I had been using predinsone, oxycontin, dilaudid, and amitriptyline for years, but still pain was my constant companion. At times so debilitating that a wheelchair was my only option for getting around.
