Hi,
Does anyone know if there are scholarships available directly for Lupus patients? I simply cannot handle going to school and work full-time. Even part time work has proved to increase flare-ups unbearably. Thank you,

It is a hard thing... I definitely know from personal experience.

I do not know for sure but have you spoken to any agency like vocational rehabilitation. Some times they may help with tuition.

That's an interesting question. I've never thought of it before but would love to find out myself. I know exactly how you feel, and I think there should be something out there to help those of us with chronic health conditions get through college. My problems are GREATLY hindering me, and I've already had to quit once - for 3 years, and I've been feeling so bad again lately that I'm scared I'm gonna have to drop out again! It's hard enough for us w/o having to work, but if you have to work in addition to the regular school load, it's dang near impossible!

That doesn't help when you have kids, car expenses (i.e. gas, ins, repairs), school supplies, household bills...
