Question peripheral neuropathy

Hi,
today I went to my GP to talk about the severe dizziness and vertigo Ive been having (I was told to see him to get a referel to the Ear nose and throat Doc. I have never had an app, with him but have seen his co workers. we talked about my condi and during the time I was in the office my butterfly rash appeared very brightly. I told him how I was thought to have MS for a year and how finally this rash appeared. He said my rhumy should have diag. me with lupus by now.He told me he his going to speak to him. He said I have SLE and discord lupus.
On the way out he noticed my drop foot which when in a flare I get. I never new what that was. He said it is peripheral neuropathy. I wanted to know if anyone else has this? Sorry for all the writing.
Let me know
Sha,

O-YA Sha

I know whats going on and yes you deffinatly have lupus wene I first got Dx they thought I had Leukemia how about that I was 24 and had to tell my family I had Leukemia. my way your dizzyness those are called mini sezures don't worry wene you get on the right MEDS it will clear up. Tell me this do you get these weird shadows that come over your eye site, do you site or stand then all of a sudden you get this weird feeling like you body is going out of wack you think thats weurd if it happens close your eyes your head will start spinning fast. Thats not good but I used to mess with that all the time wene it happened I hade nothing else to do. When it realy screws with you is wene your driving be careful. (It's causeed by your eqolibrium being off Lupus also makes you Enimic automaticly because of Lupus). Just get on the right MEDS and Exercise keep your blood circulating don't smoke, drinke or do any eligal subsatnces a drink wont hurt accasionally th Doc says but all the other stuff makes thing worse.

Take care hope this helps talk to your Rumotologist Dr. get a CBC Blood test the reason Dr. don't get the Dx right of is Lupus takes on multiple ID's Regular blood work does not Expose it. Tell the Dr. about the CBC palet test.

take care

Sal

Hi Shasha,

When you get into your doc, ask him/her about Neurontin. It's an antidepressant, but one of the side effects(a good one)is helping pain from nerve damage. Back in 1978 I went 6 months holding onto walls. At work I had to hold onto desks. Walking down the street I had to hug the buildings. It was pathetic. It was really scary too. No one knew then what was going on. It helps with my burning pain too.
It might help you. Good Luck, Sandy B

Thumbs up

Hello Sha

A CBC is a test that basicly checks out every thing thats going on with your Lupus. it has all the palet tests that are needed to monitor Lupus. but they are tests that you need to get ever time you go see your Reumotologist I have to see mine every month I have to get blood drawn a week before I go see him. I hate blood tests but I have to do them. take care and like I said to you once you get on the right MEDS ever thing will all back in place and things will be normal. Well as normal as can be you know. Find out if your Enimic too I You might have that too the down side is The Enimia that the Lupus causes cant be repared by eating or taking Iron its just a side affect caused by Lupus O-YAAA.

Take care and let me no what happens at the Dr.
