Post Any Thoughts?

Hey All,

I've been having some of the same symptoms for a while now, but they are increasingly getting worse, so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about what it could be...
I have rashes all over both legs, from the knee down to my ankle, I've had these for at least a year, but they haven't started itching really bad until lately. I also have a small, round, very red rash on my wrist.
I've been getting mouth sores. I have extreme fatigue.
And I also have endometriosis, and I know it is a lot more likely that women with endo will get an another autoimmune disease.
So that is what brought me to think it might be lupus. Also, any time I have bloodwork, my sed rate is extremely high.

Anyway, any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Destiny

Sounds like you do have a reason to suspect Lupus.
But it still could be something else. My husband's
father had an ichy rash on his legs and they discovered
he had poor curculation. Better get checked out by a DR.

I think you should be checked out by a Dr. too, but I'd go to a rheumatologist. He's the best one to decide if you have an autoimmune disease. Ann

Hey All,

Thanks for responding. I did see my primary dr, and since that visit I have decided to change doctors. I can't *stand* when doctors don't listen to me, and when they act like you are wasting their time.

Anyway, she gave me a cream, which hasn't really helped. She also said the rash on my legs was different than the one on my wrist, which I don't believe. She told me to stop shaving my legs for a month! Like that's going to happen.

So I guess my next stop is a dermatologist. And to find a new primary care dr.

Thanks for all your help :-)

I don't think much of dermatologists. If I were you
I'd see another primary care Dr. or a Rheumatologist.
