 Rashes from sun exposure
I have been trying to get a diagnosis for all my symptoms for the last year. I have yet to succeed. I get very red raised lumpy rashes on my hands predominantly and some on my arms whenever I go in the sun. they come on very badly about two days after sun exposure and take about one week to disappear depending on the severity. Cortisone/steroid cream does not seem to make it go away any faster. The dermotologist told me that it is probably polymorphous light eruption (PLE), which I have read can be the first sign of lupus. I think I have lupus even though my tests have come negative to date. I am currently being re-tested. This is my list of symptoms:
hair loss/thinning from all over
severe dry eyes (meibomian oil gland dysfuntion)
burning sensation in scalp
rashes from sun
feeling of a lump in my throat
red rash over nose (has responded to antibiotics)
Does this sound like lupus???
Is the hair loss mainly from the front with lupus (this is what I have been told)??
I would value any opinions.
