I know this is an old post and curious as to how you are doing in the last 6-7 months. Curious if they ever determined what was happening with you.
To me - I would wonder about esophageal spasms - some very serious chest pains. They are some medicines they can use to relax it.
Also - make sure they ran the FULL thyroid panel on you - not just the TSH. You should request the FreeT3, FreeT4, and PTO tests - don't accept anything less. Check out all the symptoms your thyroid can cause if not working properly over on the thyroid board.
