Anyone hear of this drug ???? or use it?

Hi Deb!

I have heard a bit about this drug lately. It is used for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis, like your mom. I just read an article that it has been recalled! Meaning that they found that it does bad things to people. I don't know if it's such a good idea to take, unless they have changed the format of it and re-distributed it again. Please talk to your pharmacist- they will have more information!!

The last time it was recalled was January of 2003! Not that long ago. Apparently it was causing heart related problems. Please don't freak out.. just talk to the pharmacist because maybe they have changed the drug a bit so that it is heart friendly

Ooops!!

I found more info! It can cause more heart problems in people with congestive heart failure PRIOR to using it. If your mom hasn't had that, then it should be okay to use

thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
She does have heart problems so I wouldn't think
this is good for her. I heard it can cause a lot
of infections too
