Just curious

I was just wondering if anyone had a positive ANA, no symptoms, and found out it really was just undiagnosed food allergies?

In other words, can you have a positive ANA if you have food allergies?

Re: Just curious

Lolo, Up to 3 percent of the normal population can have a false positive ANA test result. Meaning up to 3% can test positive and be perfectly healthy. BUT I don't think they would have a positive RNP unless it is somehow connected to the autoimmune process. You should just wait and see if the RNP test comes back positive again.

Sorry to hear you had such a crappy appointment last week.
