Question leaking leg syndrome

I have severe problems with water retension, blistering and my legs leaking. I take 120 mg of diaretic daily and still is have this. Could this be a lupus problem or should I look elsewhere for my answers. If I sit all day it is better but when I am up on my feet for not so an unusual time the swelling is tremendous. What to do???

Re: leaking leg syndrome

Wow, that doesn't sound so good. Did your doctor tell you what they thought it was? Is your heart and blood pressure okay? How about your kidneys?

If you are concerned about Lupus, the basic blood tests you need done is the ANA profile, ESR, and RF factor. They would likely check your kidney function too, but you do not have to have kidney disease to have Lupus.

Just tell your doctor you would like it checked to see if it might be Lupus, I'm sure they'd happily comply.

Have you also seen a peripheral vascular doctor, endrocrinologist or a cardiologist???
