Results from Eos... Colitis Allergy testing

Vee Jay,

After seeing the 2nd Gastro Doc confirming the 1st diagnoisis of the rare colitis which is lupus related he sent me to an allergy Doc. After being *****ed all over my back and both arms we found that my intestines are allergic to all things..POTATOES! also I have allergies to trees, dust and mold.
The taters are the thing that caused 22 yrs of pain cramping , diahreia , bloating and constapation. Well there goes the IBS my old doc kept saying I had.;)
The best advise I ever recieved was if you dont think it sounds right go to another doc for 2nd opinion and testing. We know our bodies better then the doctors do. After all we alive in our bodies they dont. So I am off the taters and taking over the counter allergy meds and I am feeling soooooooooo much better now.:D

Teeha, potatoes? Wow, that's an amazing discovery, and not a moment too soon! I'm glad you're already feeling much better & that you persisted. Sending my best wishes to you, Vee

Does that mean you ate a lot of potates growing up? I read yesterday that potato allergy is very rare---your jaw must have dropped! Anyway, YAY for you, heading to 2012 with a new lease on life. With my best, Vee
