Is there a difference between a screen and titer? From what I have read positive is above 1:40. I was told my screen was positive and at 1:13 I can't see how that is possible. I do have some other positive tests but I am wondering about this. There is also no pattern indicated. It does say <0.90 as a standard range, maybe this is a different kind of ana test? Thanks

I just had a ANA titer done and it was 1:40. the lab that performed doesn't go lower then 1:40. Even though my titer was 1:40 and said positive three doctors told me this is negative including the lupus foundation. I do not have lupus but I called because i wasn't understanding clearly. I don't see how a 1:13 is positive. My best advice is to call a doc until you understand clearly.
