Re: blood woork results help

Generally, positive SS and DS DNA antibodies and Smith antibodies are seen in lupus, with Smith and DS DNA antibodies most specific. The RNP antibodies are seen in mixed connective tissue disease, which is an overlap syndrome of lupus and other autoimmune disorders. The SSA and SSB is positive in Sjogren's. I think your CRP is a tiny bit high, depending on your lab's reference range, which is an inflammatory marker. The Hb and Hct are low which would indicate anemia. Vit D is low end of normal range. The IGM<IGG and IGA I can't tell without reference ranges. Platellets are a little high but that can occur in inflammation. TSH (thyroid) is fine. Remember that labs alone do not make a diagnosis, so your Dr will have to look at these along with your symptoms to make an assessment of your diagnosis. Autoimmune disorders are sometimes hard to pin down, especially when several seem to be present at once. The CCP is a test for rheumatoid arthritis, and I believe your result is normal.
