Hi. I think both in your 2nd set are higher than in your 1st set. ANA is a titer test done by diluting your sample with a control substance until the fluorescence disappears. The more dilutions it takes to make it disappear, the higher the reading. 1:160 took one more dilution & so is the higher of the two. (The series is 1:40, 1:80, 1:160, 1:320, 1:640, 1:1280, 1:2560, etc.)
I believe anti-RNP of 8.0 is higher than 7.2.
But you should verify, of course!
How have you been feeling since starting Plaquenil? 10mg seems awfully low. I started at 200mg twice daily, then dropped to 200mg once daily about 16 months later. I hope your next doctor works out! Sending best wishes, Vee
