The Bullseye is back! - Lyme Disease Message Board

It has been over 1 month now since I have been dealing with this bullseye on my face! At about 4 weeks, it started to fade..........now it has come back bigger and redder than before. I have not gotten an appt with an LLMD yet......still trying. My GP keeps ignoring my symptoms and gives me cream for ringworm which does absolutely NOTHING! He claims joint pains, nausea and numbness & tingling in the arms/hands are not signs of Lyme Disease, therefore I do not have it! It is so frustrating!!!!!!! How do you all put up with this for months or even years? You all must have the patience of a saint! I am having tremendous difficulty with how closed minded these docs are!

Pitnum, Please seek treatment as soon as you can. I recently saw my third doctor, a rheumatologist and he listened to all of my symptoms and said they do not sound like lyme disease. My blood tests were negative and I never had the bulls eye rash like you do. You need another doctor right away. At least my first doctor treated me anyway, even though they all said I do not have lyme disease.

I practically begged for the antibiotics (pitiful isn't it!), but he refused anyway!
I will try again tomorrow to get an appt with an LLMD.............if no luck, I may have to try a dermatologist. I'll keep you posted on whatever information they give me (if any!)
