Question HELP!! Need Lyme Doctor in Los Angeles?

I have all the Lyme symptoms and had a tick bite and bullseye rash last summer, but my physician ran the ELISA test one week after the bite and he said it came up negative. I think I need a real Lyme specialist here in Los Angeles. Anyone know how to find one? Thanks.

Re: HELP!! Need Lyme Doctor in Los Angeles?

Hi ny01 Dr. Steven Harris in LA comes very highly recommended.

A bullseye rash is a defnite sign of Lyme and having one merits treatment. Most people test negative early in the infection. No test is completely reliable and the ELISA is the least reliable.

I hope you can get an appointment soon.
