I was not told to watch that in my son, and he is 8 so hopefully they would have. I am interested to hear if this is a symptom of Lyme as well. I di hear that certain antibiotics can cause bone damage tho, so it needs to be closely monitored. I think it was just the tetracylene family with the bone damage tho. See ya
Sorry - getting the info via phone from my mom. Its really severe Osteopenie. Which is a milder bone loss that doesn't yet meet Osteoporosis. They say that is approaching Osteoporosis? I am a bit confused at this point. She is 67 but 4 1/2 years ago bone density was slighter under for her age. But 2 1/2 years ago she had gained density. Now she is losing. Not sure if it was from any meds. Just wondering if anyone with Lyme has experienced anything like this. I am still searching for solutions to her illness. I don't mean to confuse anyone.
Komondor - I called the LLMD but he is away until Wed. I will call again then. Lyme sure is a very scarey thing. I go to my sons ball games now and I always have the fear in the back of my mind that there are ticks nearby. I fear ticks more than I do terrorists. Again thanks for the info. Its like a puzzle with missing pieces and any bit of info turns into those pieces.
