Dr. Schuchman in Marlton, New Jersey - Lyme Disease Message Board

I'm planning on going to the Lyme Disease Treatment Center in Marlton, NJ. I believe the LLMD there is Dr. Schuchman the last I've heard. Does anyone know anything about this treatment center and/or Dr. Schuchman? I want to see someone knowledgeable and I've read elsewhere that he is. Any recommendations?

From everything I have heard, I would not recommend this center. I do not have personal experience with them but I understand they will treat only if a person has a positive PCR test. No Lyme test is completely reliable and I have never heard of any other Lyme doctor relying on one test result to treat. Also, some people who have Lyme are positive on different tests but not on the PCR.

I have also heard they undertreat and then retest the person to determine if treatment should continue. Most Lyme doctors treat continuously until a person is symptom free for at least two months.
