My family and me were eating dinner at Cracker Barrel when I got this sharp pain in my head. One of the signs that I am going to start herxing either within 1/2 hr to a couple hrs. Well, this one just decided to hit right then and there full force. I started getting this whirling in my head and then my eyes started rolling and boom, I was down for the count. Good thing my husband knows all the signs and he switched seats with my son or else I would have been wearing my mashed potatoes in my bangs. Not a pretty sight, I'll telll you. Well, I came to after a few moments with my head aching and dizzy, and of course telling my husband that I am fine ( this is something that I do, ((it really bugs him )) when boom I went out again.
To make a long story short, this happened all the way out the door, yes, people we had to leave and I did not get to finish my potatoes, sad but true !!! In between passing out, an older gentlemen was winking at me, and I started cracking up lauging about that. Try explaning that to a restaurant of people.
Oh what this disease does to us. It is not a fun ride, unless we can make it one, eh???
ANyway that was my night. Anyone else herx this often ? I do about 4-5 days a week. I am on Biaxin 500 mg 2x day. Nystatin 4x a day . Diflucan 1x day. Just got off Doxy 300mg 3x day for 4 months.
