Hi Betterdaysforme,
I've been doing frantic research into what may be wrong with me, (besides Lyme of course, since I'm still awaiting my blood work.) I stumbled across a condition that may be of interest to you-"Hughes Syndrome" or Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. It is an auto-immune condition that can cause MS type symptoms. I'm going to ask my doctor to test me for it, since besides the neuro symptoms I also have some of the other symptoms with purpural rashes, raynauds syndrome, migraines, etc. It can be detected in a simple blood test and is treatable with anti-coagulation and baby aspirin. It may be worth looking into-just thought you might want to know in case you haven't been tested for this before. Have you been worked up for Lupus or other auto-immune disorders?

Thanks for the info. I will check into the condition you mentioned. Problem is that I don't have any rashes, never have, and no migraines. One time when I was at the chiropractor's office she did something on the bottom of my foot and said that told her I did not have an auto immune disorder. I guess Lyme is not really considered auto immune because some foreign object actually caused it. Not sure? I think the Doxy may be starting to work because today I washed my hair and only about 6 strands came out. That's pretty good for only a week back on meds. This is the first thing that cleared up with the Rocephin. Just think how much more would clear up if the doctor will just increase the dosage! I've really got to work on him!
