Question Can smeone tell me the probabilities of this being lyme?

Hi everyone!! I uess I am starting to second guess what is going on with me. If I could tel you all what has been going on could you tell me if you think it sounds right for lyme:

extreme fatique
weight lose (35 lbs in 2 months)
abdomen distention
rib soreness
foggy brain
weird eye tabbing effect
neck and shoulder pain and stiffness
swollen glands
low white count
one infection after the other
insomnia
with insomnia feels like my brain is buzzing
feet pain
leg and hip pain
migraines
chronic sinus issues
heart palutations (with valve prolapse)
worse symptoms 1 week out of cycle
PMS
burning itchy legs-then bruises
can't sit back on legs otherwise they bruise
can't handle massage or I herx BAD!
no memory what so ever
CHILLS out of the blue
fingers and toes always cold
acne
out of breath
depressed(due to being ill not depression)
anxiety
panic attacks
can't remember what I read(have to read it at least 10 times and then some)
ulcers in the mouth

I feel like I have had every test done under the sun and I am tired of hearing "well, there is nothing wrong with you". I tested positive for CEBV. I had a bone marrow biopisy done last month that shows my cells are hypercellular. MRI of the head that showed chronic sinusitis, MRI of the spine that showed 2 disc protrusions but no MS. The oncolagist tested for everything she could think of. 2 neg results for lyme through lab corp and quest.

I have been on the Candida diet since last April only straying one time (this weekend) with a cheeseburger and now I have had heightened symptoms and a migraine for 3 days. I am taking juice plus, seabiotics, astraglaus, echinchea, vit c, garden of life probiotics, I also do homeopathy and see an awesome Chiro. I feel like I have changed everything and don't know what else to do. I guess I just need reassurance to see DR C. That I wouldn't be waisting precious money (haven't been able to contribute for 2 yrs since I got sick). Thanks a bunch for any insight!!

Fighting to GOTTAGETBETTER!!

Re: Can smeone tell me the probabilities of this being lyme?

Hi,

Sorry that you are feeling so ill.

I'm certainly no doctor, and I'm also brand new to this site so I'm still learning things myself.

One thing you wrote down did jump out at me though, and that was the ulcers in the mouth. Has Lupus been ruled out? I had known someone who thought they had it (they were still trying to get a definite diagnosis), and one of the symptoms that caused them to suspect Lupus was the ulcers in the mouth. I don't know much about Lupus, but I think it is also one of those things that can be difficult to get a diagnosis (or at least it seemed to be for the person I knew). Of course other things I'm sure could cause mouth ulcers and the other symptoms too, but I thought I would mention that just in case it may be of some use to you.

I hope you get to see a good doctor who will give you the answers and diagnosis and treatment you need. Take care.

Hi gottagetbetter. By your symptom description, in my non-medical opinion I think it is probable that have Lyme and one or more of the co-infections. You have had other things checked out which is good. Many people who have Lyme saw 7-10 doctors before getting diagonosed.

When these diseases are a possibility, it is critical to see a Lyme doctor. Your money will be well spent, not wasted. Let us know how your appontment goes.

Re: Can smeone tell me the probabilities of this being lyme?

Hi "gonna"getwell I had everyone of your symptoms except for sores in my mouth constantly. I would get them off and on...otherwise had everything you have. If your immunity is down that can cause cankor sores.

I know how you are feeling - I was feeling that way up until the 3rd week of my tX and then when my worst symptoms started to respond to the tX and disappear I was then able to relax and be convinced...even after an equivocal IgM, a positive IgG for lyme and a very positive babesia and ehrlichia (hme) & (hge) test.

It is a disbelief that comes from being sick so long and then finally maybe seeing the light at the end of the tunnel...it seems impossible that there actually could be an answer....as well as all the white coats telling you it is all in your head OR that they just can't figure it out...there is some dynamic there because I had all the same feelings.

Hang in there. The money will be worth it either way. Dr. C is extremely great and will most likely be able to figure it out no matter what it is. At this point though I would be willing to bet shoe collection on it - and I LOVE my shoes

Hang in there my friend...you are almost there...it is like taking that last lap on the track. Try to relax and enjoy your Saturday as best you can.
