Lyme test result: POSITIVE

I can't believe it, but there it is in black and white: POSITIVE.

I re-read my IgeneX Western Blot results and I am positive. Heck - I even meet the CDC criteria!

This test was done back in March and I've reviewed this report a thousand times. How on earth could I have missed the the thing I yearned for the most .... proof.

I feel like taking this report and shoving it in the faces of all those doctors who said there was nothing wrong with me.

6blues ,

AWESOME!! At least now you know what you are dealing with. I totally understand about shoving the results in all the DR's faces. Like...SEE IT'S NOT JUST IN MY HEAD!!"

Dear 6blues,

You are way to generous about where you would like to shove that report!

Lyme Disease Survivor

well its usually not that bad.
when i had it, i found out a tick went INTO my knee (way nasty) and i didn't find out until a year later. my knee kept cracking like a knuckle all day then it wouldn't move. then i was on crutches for a few weeks and my mom had to go to school with me to bring my backpack in. it was SO embaressing! luckily she only had to come in in the morning before homeroom. but with pills, it finally got better.
so i think you're going to be okay
btw: if someone asks if your going to die, say no; you wont die

Re: Lyme test result: POSITIVE

Hi 6Blues,

That is wonderful news! I found out from IgeniX 5 years later and I wanted to scream to the world "I have Lyme!!"

I did call many of my previous doctors and when I told them how I tested positive for Ehrlichiosis, they were shocked, ha, ha, ha!!

I know what you mean by wanted to shove those reports in their faces, I almost mailed copies of my IgeniX reports to all the doctors I saw for 5 years and kept telling me that there was nothing wrong with me "Oh, you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome", yeah, right!

Good luck to you!
Denise
