Update on my appt w/Dr. E

Just reporting on my monthly visit with Dr. E:
- Continue with the Omnicef (1200mg/day)
- Drop the Ketek
- Add Diflucan for 30 days (die you stupid yeast!)
- Double the amount of Milk Thistle per day
- Scheduled for 3 sessions of lymphatic drainage massage therapy

Blood was drawn to test for:
- Candida overgrowth
- Liver enzymes
- Thyroid levels (my weight gain is distgusting)

I'm supposed to try to keep my spirits up - yeah right! I feel like a prisoner in my own home. Climbing the stairs to use the john is my biggest accomplishment some days!

Hang in there everyone and I will too! Peace to all who visit here

Hey 6 Blues,

I noticed you are doubling your milk thistle. I am on saventaro and Colloidal Silver and take just 1 per day. I wonder if I should be taking more?

Hi Mickie,

It's great that you are seeing a doctor, I am now searching for a Chiro who is familar with Dr. Jernigan's techniques.

I understand so much about "being a prisoner in my own home" as I feel the same way. For me to do laundry I have to climb up and down those basement stairs, my legs do not like that and ache. For some reason, the Colloidal Silver helps my legs, I still don't know why.

I can totally relate to "try to keep your spirits up", so much easier said than done, right? I have to find my spirits first as I think I lost them somewhere.

Hope you feel better,
Denise

Unhappy Re: Update on my appt w/Dr. E

Well, sighhhhhhh! I'm joining this group! Went to the doc today for my yearly (and a half) CPX, sure that I've lost a few pounds, but......I GAINED a few pounds! Blacccccccccccch! Not what I wanted to hear

I too had blood taken...started out at 10:00 a.m. for my CPX, came in my door at 4:50 p.m. after hours for a ***** and chest x-ray.....and food shopping (where I ran into someone who asked me about the labels on some food and we got to talking about Lyme...She said she was dx'd with MS or ALS and a Lyme test was neg....I suggested she check out this board and see if her symptoms were listed here....We exchanged names and e-mail addies and hopefully I'll see her here...)

So now I'm thoroughly drained - made a cup of tea in the microwave and just discovered it almost 1-1/2 hours later when I went to reheat leftovers! Argh!

Someone told me about a job opening,,,,, I was sorely tempted to even give it a moment's thought, but told her I'm basically too old and too weary to take that on again! LOL Ahhhh, the Golden Years! Gotta love 'em!!

Re: Update on my appt w/Dr. E

Hi Gerribear-

It is hard to believe there is so many of us out there feeling this way! Or maybe not walking out there but stuck in our homes as prisoners. These doctors are missing something otherwise there would be more of us feeling better. Anyway, at least we know we are not the only ones. Best of luck to you and your treatments!

By the way, what is the lymphatic drainage for?
