My symptoms are mostly neurological as the bacteria have picked my brain tissue and cranial nerves as the place to settle. I've noticed that my herx's are also centered in my head, neck and shoulders: muscle pain, fevers and horrible headaches.
I think those 2 facts are related.
I like to think that the pain is proof that the spirochetes are dying and that when all this is over - I will feel better. I have tolerated the herx's up till now without doing anything to lessen the herx symptoms (except for detox techniques).
However, tonight I have a headache so bad that, although I am exhausted, I can't sleep. It hurts so much!
Will taking a pain reliever to stop the pain, also stop the die-off?
If an aspirin will slow the die-off - I'd rather suffer.
