Ok So I'v gotten flu shots every year since I was a kid and never had any major problems. I got mine last night like always and within 30 mins I thought I was going to die! my whole body ached, head throbbed, i had the chills, stomach cramps, and at the very least my arm was sore! lol. Well about 2:30 am the stomach issues kicked in.... let's just say this served as a nice reminder why i never want to get drunk EVER! Anybody experience this before? Was it because of all the antibiotics left in my system? I was on my weekend off but I had just finished my week of septra ds, minocin, plaquenill, and flagyl. Any input would be appreciated!
Ok I talked to Dr. J's office and they said people with lyme disease are NOT SUPOSSEDTO GET A FLU SHOT! Of course that was a little to late in my case so I thought I would warn ya'll notto make the same stupid mistake I did!
I have always been suspicious of vaccines and get what I absolutely have to, but I got the flu shot this year for the first time ever (Me & my kids). Luckily nothing happened. My LLMD said flu shot was a good idea due to my weakened immune system would be unable to fight off the flu should I be infected.
I'm curious, did Dr J say why the flu shot is a bad idea?
