Lyme and high blood pressure

Does anyone know if there is a connection between Lyme and high blood pressure?

Re: Lyme and high blood pressure

I don't know, but I just wanted to say way to go for starting a thread. I know this board can feel scary at times.

I do know that Lyme bacteria creates ammonia and the ammonia effects the liver, heart and brain. My liver was shutting down, heartbeat totally erratic (but I have low blood pressure), and total weirdness in the head. On the correct stuff liver rebuilt itself in just under 3 months! Amazing organ that liver.

So hang in there, keep seeking information, and we will help in any way we can.

I don't know the answer, but it wouldn't surprise me either. Since Lyme's can effect every system of the body, it shouldn't be ruled out.
