Hi everyone....

Well, I've been feeling very miserable lately--been to the ER 4 times in the past 2 weeks for various extreme pains....anyways....my aunt (doctor) finally faxed me my lyme test results----it basically says:
Igenex: Indeterminate
CDC: Negative

For the IGM: 23-25 were IND, 31, and 39 were also IND, and 41 has 2 plus signs by it, all the rest were negative.
For the IGG: 23-25 were IND, and 41 was IND, and the rest were negative

I've been to quite a few docs in the past couple of weeks for extreme back pain, first it was lower, now its my whole back--im also having abdominal pain. I had a chest xray and ct, abdominal and pelvic ct, pelvic ultrasound and tons of blood and urine tests--none of those showed anything out of the ordinary. I also had a endoscopy (for my reflux), and a colonoscopy which also came back fine.
I started going to an internal medicine doctor this week--she is very nice--she repeated some blood work, and it came back that my thyroid is now low and my calcium is a smidget high. I have a lymph node on my neck which i've had for years--the doctors were never concerned about it--im getting it biopsied this week--so now im afraid of having cancer
I havent been to work in 2 weeks--im so stressed-i just dont know what to do sometimes. Do any of you have back pain and abdominal pain? Any lymph nodes?

I just hope and pray very hard every day that I dont have cancer but something that is hopefully fixable. Any thoughts anyone??

Thanks,
Sherrie

Re: Hi everyone....

Hi Sherrie,

I'm really sorry to hear you're going through so much these days. I was wondering how you're doing since you haven't been posting.

I really don't know what to say about your Igenex results, because I'm not very experienced with it. However, as I have read from Dr. J's book and his website, people don't need to be tested positive for Lyme in order to be treated for Lyme. On his website regarding Borrelogen, he says "I would use this remedy in anything that even remotely smells like any of the 50 something chronic symptoms of Lyme disease with or without a positive lab test." Clearly, it is well understood that Lyme disease often doesn't show up on blood tests, but I certainly understand how it'd be nice to have a definitive answer in any case.

I have a lymph node in my neck too -- or at least I think it is a lymph node. It's been 2 years... and I get a clicking sensation when I turn my neck to the right, with my head tilted downwards. The doctor's cannot feel it, but I do, and sometimes I get a shocking sensation in the same area as if something has popped. I wonder if it is the lymph draining or something. It's the weirdest sensation to described, but I think it must be the lymph node there since tests have shown that my lymphatic system is under attack by Lyme. I cannot say with any certainty regarding your case, but I think it is quite common that Lyme attacks the lymphatic system because it is part of our body's defense.

I hope you don't get too stressed out about the prospects of having cancer. Until you get the test results back, don't stress over something that might not be. And I'm glad to hear that you're praying hard to the Lord. He will listen, and He will take you through one step at a time. I will pray for you too Sherrie. I believe He will grant you the strength to go on. We'll all be here to go through it with you!

Take care Sherrie. I've not been feeling well either, so I should keep this message at that. Don't worry, be happy!

Re: Hi everyone....

SCHAO
wondered where you ahd gone, sorry you have neg tests but that means squat diddly honest, if you had a positive then its just an extra hand in your fight for understanding but no way does a neg mean you dont have lyme.

Lymph nodes, i have only just realised teh permenant cramp i have along my chin line to my ears is a lymph line.

Docs are a waste of time i have 18 lumps on my body and all tehy say is if they hurt then let us know. HELLO thats why im telling you i have them.

I know this is worrying but it could be a break in teh clouds for you.
try not to be to anxiouse it will make you worse.

My thoughts are with you and sending you strength.
Soemtimes the trying to find where it came form and teh proving you have it is exhausting, after your biopsy, try have some time off.

are you taking all natural meds at themo to help you through.

What does teh A&E say when you go there?
I advised Lyme once and the her eyes hit the floor and she said its rare.

the main thing is they have to get you some relief when you go there, i hope you are in good hands.
Jules xx

Re: Hi everyone....

Hi Schao:

I have been wondering how you were doing. I would take your Igenex results as a positive. Bands 23-25 as well as 31, 34 and 39 are very specific for lyme. Your results are very similar to mine. If it is not lyme disease then someone needs to explain to me why I have almost all the symptoms and have obviously been exposed to the lyme bacteria. I am using my results as a positive and am continuing to look for a llmd in my area who will treat me. I have back pains, stomach pains-have had endoscopies all normal. I also occaisionally feel like the glands in my neck are swollen. I hope you are feeling better soon. Please don't get discouraged.

Re: Hi everyone....

Hi Frango,

I'm so glad to see your reply to Sherrie... it must be very encouraging for Sherrie knowing your Igenex results are similar to hers. I have had no experience with the Igenex test so I'm just glad that someone knowledgeble in the area is able to shed some light on Sherrie's results.

As well, I'm glad to hear that you share similar symptoms with her. This is further evidence that Sherrie's symptoms are Lyme-related -- meaning that could be a cure to all her health problems one day!

Sherrie, cheer up! I don't know if I'm in the position to say whether you have Lyme or not, but from Frango's sharing, things certainly don't look as grim as they were!

May the Lord bless you all on this great battle of ours.
