lymph system info thread.

Ive noticed alot of threads with lymph node content and its very scattered about.

If any one has any articles, info or identification or how to find the nodes for self examinations.
Something im longing for is an ointment to rub in them to stop them aching and twinging.

thought may be nominating this as a lymph system thread would bring ease of use.

jules xx

Re: lymph system info thread.

¾ of the way down the front of the ear and about 1 cm into the face is the Preauricular.

The same position at the rear of the ear is the Posterior Auricular

Follow down the hair line about 1- 1 ½ inch and it’s the Occipital

An inch below the occipitlar and an inch over to the neck is the Posterior Cervical.

Below the ear at about I inch from the lobe and along the jaw line are 3 nodes 1 cm spaces. called the Submaxillary

The next is about 1 ½ inch from the centre of the chin back under the jaw line called the Submental

ALSO in the neck is a line called the Deep Cervical Chain that runs down the side of the neck but below the sternomastoid muscle.

Thought this my be interesting.
This has helped me identify so many pains in the sides of my head and ears, it sort of helps when you know, which and what it is.

Re: lymph system info thread.

Wow Sherlock,

That's great research. I think you missed your calling.... They pay people for doing research, yah, they do!!

When I get some information I will add it to yours. Right now I'm so tired from running around like a chicken without a head!

Also saw my psychiatrist today, he looked so tired, poor thing. I don't know how doctors can listen to people's problems all day so I'm glad that I have good news for him lately.

Until later,
Denise
