From what I understand, I.M. Rocephin is quite economical because there is a generic form available. Did you take the pnnicillian by itself or did your doc have you combine it with something? My doctor recommends the combinations and dosen't recommend using a single med on it's own for longer than a two week period with this particular disease. I think it has something to do with it adapting.
I have heard that it is extremely painful, but then I've done bikini waxes

for years and it really dosen't bother me at all. I think doing it myself is likely out of the question though. My LLMD wants me to have it done in a doc's office because I am violently allergic to pennecillan (sp?) and Rocephin is somewhat similar although many people with allergies to pennecillan take it with no problems. It is a little scary because I don't know what is going to happen.
One more question, did the injections leave any permanent lumps or anything like that?
