Hi,

I recently began a two-week regimen of doxy/rifampin as my doc suspects that Bartonella co-infection is the reason I've hit a bump in treatment. Has anyone else taken rifampin and did you have good results? I am told that if it is going to be effective it usually becomes apparent very quickly.

Hi Tinuviel!

I also started Rifampin last week for a problem I am having with my teeth and ears. My LLMD swears that in 30 days my teeth and ears should be totally better. She said it would take the whole 30 days for improvement so I figure it might not be an immediate result. Hang in there-keep us posted and I will do the same! Good Luck!

I haven't taken rifampin but I want to wish you luck with it. I hope it does the trick and takes your recovery to a higher level.
