Trip to Stone Mt and the first time back to Choir Practice in 8 months.
It has been a very busy day. I know I overdid it. But it was worth it. My husband took the day off and the 4 grandkids slept over last night, get got up early and drove up to Stone Mountain (Hour drive) Its a beautiful creek with looks of places to slid on the large rocks in the water. We took a picnic lunch. our Son in Law (David just diagnoised with possible lupus) went with us The kids had a ball playing in the water and sliding down the large rocks.
Then We came home and Larry and I had to go to bed for a nap. We were worn out.
After the rest, we went out for pizza to Pizza Hut for supper. From there I went to church choir practice. First time I had been back since I started my lyme treatment last fall. My singing voice which I had completely lost about 8 months ago. I had such a fear that I would never sing again. I practiced with the Choir tonight getting ready for homecoming. My spranno has returned and I can sing.
God has answered my prayers. I have prayerd that I cold get my voice back and feel well enough to return to the Chroir. It was difficult but I felt so good because I sang like i use to. I didn't miss notes, My throat has finally returned to high saprano. I as so tired when I finished, but it was a good tired.
I just had to share this with my friends. You are there for me so much.
We need to keep out focus on the finish line. We will make itl

Marsha
What a wonderful day! I am so glad to hear you are doing better. You have been through alot and to see light at the end of this dark lyme tunnel is so encouraging and uplifting.
Take good care of yourself and don't overdo. Thanks for sharing your good news with us. Keeps us hopeful.

Yay Marsha!
You've been through the ringer, I'm happy to hear you're still a singer.
It feels good doesn't it? I know that feeling - pure joy. Absolute appreciation for being alive and functioning.
I pray that you have more days like this. You deserve them.
I also feel that I lost my voice. I was never a soprano - a true alto. I wasn't in choir - I just sang around the house all the time. I've been wearing my iPod lately and I notice that I sound terrible. I do it anyway 'cuz it makes me feel good.
I know that feeling of hitting a note and it fills the room. I am proud of you. Wish I could hear your sweet voice! I bet it sounds beautiful.
