Re: NJ doctor?

Hi klawk316, welcome to the board!

Do you have Lyme disease or think you may? I know of Lyme doctors in Jackson and West Caldwell who come highly recommended. Would you like one of their names?

Re: NJ doctor?

Hi k. Was he given oral antbiotics after the IV? Was he ever treated until he was symptom free for at least two months?

Besides Lyme, ticks can transmit several co-infections including Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis (HME & HGE), Bartonella, and Mycoplasma. Many people who have Lyme are co-infected, and it may affect treatment choice and progress. It is important to be tested for these by a Lyme reputable lab such as IgeneX in Palo Alto, CA. Was your husband ever tested for these?

The doctors in NJ who come highly recommended are Dr. Emilia Eiras in Jackson and Dr. Leslie Fein in West Caldwell. I hope your husband can see one soon. Keep us posted okay?
