Off to see the Big LLMD Boss

Hi
My Physician in China told me to get to the US and see an expert, the faster the better. So I have been very lucky to get an appointment with one of the best (so I believe) LLMDs, Dr. S in San Francisco, next Thursday. So I fly next Weds and have 10 days in the beautiful city.
Seems a long way to go to see a doc dont you think - but fortunately he replied after reading my basic story that I should def make the trip as it sounds like I could very likely have this horrible disease!

However, I just wanted to ask, especially as I am travelling so far, what I should have ready for my appointment?

I am sure this information is somewhere already and maybe you can point me in the right direction!

Steve

Hi Steve,

Best of luck to you. The sooner you get treatment the better your chances of getting rid quickly.

The only advice I can give on preparing for your appointment is to make lots of notes beforehand so that you don't forget to mention anything.

Print off a list of LD symptoms and tick each one that you suffer from, how severe it is and how often it happens. LD tends to run in cycles along with the life cycle of the bacteria, so a picture of your symptoms over a 4 - 6 week period can be useful.

Again - good luck!

Steve I want to wish you luck too.

Also any copies of blood work, any x-ray films, MRI films. Detailed notes on when symptoms started, how they progressed. Jot down notes as you think of them.

Prayers...Marsha
