Bartonella.

Well, when I was looking up things on Lyme Disease, I came across this photo.

http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org/PhotoAlbum_RashBart.html

It is the third photo, the one where the rash is on the persons back. It looks like my back only my rash is pinkish in color, not purple. I am now scared sick. I have noticed that on my back before but never though anything of it until now. Is this the end?

Re: Bartonella.

Hi Marconis.

I have Bartonella. I'm not feeling well tonight so I can't type much - sry.

If you posted before and I forgot, my apologies, but do you have Lyme? Usually if a person has a co-infection, they have Lyme. There is a test for Bartonella, but it can be tough to get an accurate result.

I defintely have Bartonella, yet I have tested negative twice.

I have the weird rashes that come and go. Its scary to see this rash all over my legs - but its a good thing for me because it means my medicine is working and the bacteria are dying/

Please get tested for Lyme and Bartonella. Are you seeing a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD)?

Peace and health to you.

Re: Bartonella.

Hey 6Blues, thanks for replying. I am going to my doctor either Tuesday or Wednesday, because I had just noticed the rash (and a bit of symptoms) on Wednesday. I didn't think anything of it, I assumed it was jsut a mark from the chair or something since it was all down my back. Then last night I accidentally came across a photo of a bartonella rash, and it looked almost identical to what I had. I was bitten on June 30th, so I am afraid it's too late. I'm afraid my doctor won't know anything and will dismiss me for anxiety and hypochondria. Although, 6 years ago, my sister was dxed with lyme by the same doctor (used to be her pediatrician). I can't remember if she had a rash or not or if it came up through blood tests.
