I have a my first visit with a llmd. Dr Jemsek is the llmd on april 26 and I'm having a lot of vision problems. I see like a ghost like image above my eyes when I see light. I also have a floater in my right eye. I see bluriness every now and then. The eye doctor told me back in october that I had uveitis. I wanna know if I get treatment will the floaters bluriness and ghost like images disappear. Also I see flashing lights very seldom. If I can recall I seen the bullseye rash in july. It's now march so hopefully we catch it on time to get this bacteria gone for good. Thanks everyone keep on fighting this aggravating disease.

Lyme can cause many vision problems. With proper treatment, it should get better.
My eyes hurt me really bad when i was extremly ill from this crap...Floaters really bad...fuzziness...ect....
With years of treatment my eyes have gotten much better...except now I am older and have those issues to deal with...haha..no majic pill there...
I just thought when I read your post...I had gone to an eye doctor too.
He told me I had a MOLE behind my pupil. Needless to say I didn't go back and my lyme doctor had never heard of a mole behind someones eye...haha....Anyway seems as though the MOLE is gone...no more floaters or fuzziness....
You really have to be patient ...it will take time for your poor body to heal once you start treatment
I've had eye problems too. My floaters have been crazy (one is in the shape of a cursive D). I went to my eye doctor last weekend and my prescription has changed. She & I discussed the Lyme and she was very receptive to the information. She also said she had just recently seen a program on Lyme. I am going back in a month when my insurance will cover the visit (I had to pay out of pocket for piece of mind) to make sure that nothing has changed. Then I'll get pretty new glasses.
Thanks I really needed that. I feel much better now hearing all of your advice and stories. That just boosted up my day for hope when I see Jemsek. But I heard he only treats for 2 months so how am I going to get all of this bacteria out of me with only 2 months.
