is there anything for those 'electirc shocks'?

Hi everyone-

I was wondering if anyone has a method for dealing with the electric shock feelings that are keeping me up tonight. I had them (yes, I think they are now gone) in my upper right arm. I have never had them before.

Had a really terrible night. I was at a Pawsox game and had a familiar feeling for me- I get really buzzed out and burning and feel like I am going to faint. Usually when I get like that, it means my symptoms are ratcheting up a notch and I'll plateau at a new and worse level than I was previously. Not a good sign. I also experienced vertigo like I never have before all through the game. I could not turn my head or read.

I am not sure if I will be able to drive to work this morning- I might have to ask my husband to drive me in.

Thanks, as always, for the help!

There is a medication called Lyrica that my LLMD prescribed, it is suppose to help with nerve pain. Maybe it would help you with the shocks. Ask your LLMD about it. the only thing about it is there is no generic, if you have a copy and name brands that is good. I however do not and it is $400.00 a month, so I could not get it filled, so don;t know if it works or not. Maybe someone else on the board is taking it and knows if it is useful. sarah
