Ingenex Tests and Insurance

Has anyone submitted the cost of the Ingenex tests to their insurance and had them pay some of it?

Thanks!

Yes, my INS reimbursed me 75% of the cost. But my son's INS wouldn't pay back any of it. Just depends on the INS. As usual. Call your INS. and find out what they will reimburse. Sarah

Re: Ingenex Tests and Insurance

My HMO won't pay anything for Igenex. I've heard the story about all your doctor has to do is say it's necessary then they pay. Wrong - A HMO will only pay for an in network lab unless the test is not offered by the in network lab. If the test is not offered they will pay only once.

I have a PPO so I received reimbursement for Igenex as an out of network cost. I think my insurance paid 70% of it.

Re: Ingenex Tests and Insurance

Those of you who got reimbursed are very lucky. Many companies do not cover any of the testing.
