Hi, today is my second day on treatment. Last night while I was sitting on sofa watching t.v, it felt like I was being pricked all over my body, as if someone was poking me with a needle on various parts of my body! Then, my left arm had this crushing pain that lasted only a few minutes. Now today, it feels like my left leg and arm has this same crushing feeling. Also, if you remember my post in the past, I mentioned that I have had this numb-like feeling around my nose area since Jan, now if feels like it has spread farther out into my face and is more intense!

Hi J. You could be herxing. Many people herx at the beginning of treatment and every three to four weeks. It sounds like the antibiotics are stirring the bacteria up. It is always good to let your do?ctor know what is going on if there is any question.

Thanks Ticker, I started having these random deep achy pains that only last minutes at a time. It's like the bones in my arms and legs are be crushed then poof! A few minutes later, it's in another spot. It's not constantly in the same location. Is that common?

Hi J. It is common for Lyme symptoms to wax, wane, and migrate around the body. It is very bizarre.
