 Is it possible to get it again?!
Hi Everyone,
I got diagnosed with Lyme Disease this past February, went through the horrors of mainstream drs before going to a Lyme literate dr in June. Within 3 weeks, most of the symptoms were gone under his care. I'm on doxycycline, rifampin, and zithromax and on the antibiotic therapy diet the dr prescribed. I thought I was on my way to recovery until 2 days ago. The same pain that was in my shoulder joints came back. It was small and now, it's to where I'm shaking, it hurts so bad. I tried calling my dr but his office is closed today. My thing is this past Sunday I went and did yardwork for the first time this year. I'm highly suspicious this is how I got Lyme disease last time because I don't go hiking or anything like that. But I did yardwork this past weekend because it needed to get done and my roommates will never do it. So is it possible to get the disease again so quickly? Is it something else that I'm doing? I know that I've fallen off the diet and it's hard for me to get back on again with no sugar or bread. But would that cause all of this, even if I've been on my meds? I need help!
