I don't much about the PCR test w/r/t Lyme.
When I first became ill, my primary doctor ordered 2 Western Blots and they both came back negative.
I saw many many doctors and not one of them considered Lyme as a diagnosis.
I found a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) and she began to treat me based on my syptoms alone.
She ran another WB test through Igenex labs and it came back CDC positive.
There is no completely reliable test for Lyme. A good LLMD will treat you based on your symptoms alone.
Lyme can be a confusing disease. It's also a tough bug to fight. Hang in there and don't give up fighting for yourself.
Is your doctor an LLMD? Were you tested for co-infections? Did you develop a rash or are your symptoms more general?
