Do you have this?>.......

Hi all, I was wondering if you have pain in the long bones, ie arm and leg bones? I think it's bone pain. It feels like the pain is coming from deep inside. It is a very dull achy pain.

Thanks,
J

Hi J- yup, arms and legs, night and day. I also get something that feels more like shin splints. Isn't it nice to know you are not alone?

zand, as quickly as it comes it goes! I'll get this terrible dull, aching/crushing pain, and poof! It's gone in a few minutes. I mostly get them in my arms.

>chin splints......what's that feeling like?

J

Re: Do you have this?>.......

shin (sp?) splints.. remember running for track (in P.E. class)? That awful feeling you'd get in the fronts of your lower legs, in the bone, somewhere below the knee?

My bone pain started fading when I was on Biaxin, but now that I'm on a Biaxin/Omnicef combo, it's a lot worse. In my arms, legs.. everywhere. Even my pelvis hurts. And now I'm getting this pain that feels like somebody's taking a hammer to my wrist bones. It's horrid.

Re: Do you have this?>.......

You know, I never had bone pain until AFTER I started antibiotics. I was told by my LLMD to stop taking it for a week and see what happens. Well, it's been a few days since I'm off of antibiotics and still get the bone pain?!!

Re: Do you have this?>.......

The spirokete imbededs itself in bone...maybe the antibiotic stirred them up 3love.....

It takes a long time but with the proper treatment it should go away...mine did....

Re: Do you have this?>.......

It is funny how different we all are but with so many similarities. My bone pain existed before and after abx. What has really gotten ME after starting abx is JOINT pain! Had it before but not like this. I am afraid my lyme is turniong into arthritis. Hope you are feeling better soon J.
