Quantitative Rapid Identification of Borrelia burgdorferi (Q-RIBb)

Hello Everyone, Just curious if anyone has had this latest Lyme detection test. It is suppose to be far superior to any Lyme blood test.

The method uses a fluorescent antibody technique on whole blood and is noteworthy for sensitivity and for the brief time required to complete the test (less than 60 minutes). The accuracy of this method was tested in two other laboratories with identical results.

Thinking about getting it done any comments please respond.

Have you got any more info? Never heard of it. I tried to get my doc to use the C6 Peptide test that is used on animals (and FDA approved for people), but he just chuckled and said "why don't you get your vet to test your blood then?". This from an otherwise very knowledgeable LLMD. I don't understand his reaction, but there you go.

Hi Bill,

I've contacted them and am waiting for a return call. The test rus about $250.00, some insurances cover it. I will keep you informed when I do it. It would be really something to actually have a picture of the Lyme bacteria thats in the body.
