Female problems related to Lymes?
Has anyone had problems with monthly cyle/hormone levels related to lymes?

Hey joy,
I have gyn issues. They say normal stuff but things like cysts on overies, irregular periods, clotting, ect. GYN's always try to convince me is't "normal" but I know it's related to lyme. Others on the board also have GYN issues.

Thanks for replying. As you can tell I am new. After I posted I did find some posting about female problems. I believe I was biten in May/June. I have missed my last 2 periods. I have been extremely regular all of my life. Primary dr. took my FSH and TH hormone levels and they came back that I am post menopausal. I find that odd since I have not had any signs of things changing before the lymes. I am trying to get an appt. with a gyn./llmd that is located in Easton, MD. I hope she can help me.

many problems. ovarian cysts and uterin fibroids. bleeding that was heavy, bad cramps, and menses got closer and closer. i usually was better on the pill, was on it on and off for years. finally was bleeding for months on end an had a hysterectomy in 2003.
