Is anyone seeing or have seen Dr. W in Milwaukee? We went to see him yesterday and would love to hear other people's experiences with him.

Hi Rachael. All I know about him is that he is supposed to be knowledgeable.

How did the appointment go? Did he test for all the co-infections? Were you started on meds?

It wasn't for me. It was for my boyfriend. He hasn't tested him for coinfections yet but started him on iv and oral drugs based on his positive western blot. So far so good. Makes me wonder if I should be on iv drugs as well.

Do you have symptoms?

It is important to be tested for the co-infections. Many Lyme doctors believe they need to be treated first for Lyme treatment to be effective. This was true in my case.
