Not good really.... i was advised to wait for results of my MRI scan... i have the scan this weekend.... and to discuss it with my neuro consultant....
Not sure what to do really... whether to wait 2 more wks patiently for results or to contact LLMD back as he did say he would see me at a push without a letter....
if it is a possibility i have lyme will an MRI scan of the brain show any indication of this....
That is a shame. Lyme can show up on an MRI like MS but I do not think it is as common. Two weeks is not too bad. If it imapcts insurance, that would be difficult but if it is just so the LLMD will see you and s/he has indicated they will anyway, why not go for it?
Im hoping nothing does show up.... Its not that easy in uk to be taken seriously about lyme.... im hoping my neuro is a little more understanding.... the more i think about the bite i had and all the funny symptoms i have experienced since it happened suggest lyme.... out of all this i jus want to be taken seriously and have my life back....
