negativ results

Hi all, I received a letter in the mail today that said " The results of your Lyme test were negative" No result sheet or what they tested for.
Should I call and ask what they tested for and what lab did it? I know a local lab did the test because I asked if they send it anywhere special. I was told no we do it here. Should I ask for the actual test result? I don't want to be a pain, but 2 deer tick bites, a case of what they thought was shingle after the June bite and the severe reaction after this last one makes me wonder.
I am grateful if in fact is is negative, I just want to make sure they did the proper test. Also, should I finish my Doxy cycle?

Thanks

Re: negativ results

Hi spookiej and Happy Halloween.

I defintely would get the lab results. You should be able to get a photocopy from your doctor. I always get copies of my blood work and test results.

As far as finishing your course of Doxy, that's a question for your doctor.

Are you seeing an LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor)?

Peace and health to you,
Mickie

Re: negativ results

Hi spookiej. I agree, always get copies of your test results.

You really need to see a Lyme doctor to be properly tested and evaluated.
