IV antibiotic therapy easier on tummy?

I'm having a terrible time trying to take any antibiotic pills, no matter which one, they all make my stomach bloat with gas and all burn my esophagus.
Does the IV forms help with this at all?

Re: IV antibiotic therapy easier on tummy?

Hi Rachelle, I seemed to have more problems when I was taking orals...Make sure you don't lay down after you take them for atleast an half hour...I eat with mine also to get them down....

Good Luck to you!

hugs
