I've had symptoms for 19 months now. I found this site a few months ago and when I read the list of symptoms, I realized that I had experienced about 20 of them. I asked my doctor to test for Lyme Disease, but it was negative.
I'm not sure what I should do next. My doctors keep telling me what I don't have, but not what I do have. I'm not satisfied with the results of the Elisa, because I've read how unreliable it is. I'm trying to find a doctor who can help me.
The only Lyme doctor I know of in PA who comes highly recommended is Dr. Chandra Swami in Hermitage. You may want to research Lyme support groups in your state and see if they can recommend doctors. Are you far from NJ? I know of a few Lyme doctors in NJ.
Ticker, would you please give me the names of the doctors you know of in NJ.
If you don't mind travelling into MD, you can try the doc I used. B Robert M, Rockville MD. He's in the "great docs" sticky post in the forumn. I highly recommend him.
