My Doxy Schedule

Ok so i'm on 3 100 mg pills a day. I'm trying to plan out my day here as far as no dairy and vitamins etc. I think this seems to work.

Get up at 7, take all vitamins and joint suppliments

Breakfast before 8, consists of oats with soy milk (will try unfortified) and various other items.

1st pill at 10am, with PB crackers

Lunch from 12-1:30pm

2nd pill at 3PM, with a snack

Dinner around 6:30ish

3rd Pill around 8:30-9:00 with no going to bed before 10

No ice cream anymore after dinner WAH. Ahh well, the things we do to feel better.

Sound OK?

Re: My Doxy Schedule

Does everyone take Doxy with their meals?

I just took one at 10 with a sleeve of Peanut Butter crackers. I'm a bit nervous as i'm starting to feel....a bit queesy in the tum but I was trying to adhere to the directions as much as possible.

Re: My Doxy Schedule

Hi Aimiloo.

I was on Doxy for 9 months. I remember trying to fit those pills into my daily pill-o-rama. Not fun.

I took mine with jelly toast. One piece of toast, wait 10 minutes, take a Doxy, wait 10 more minutes, then the next piece of toast. Then cross my fingers.

It was a pain in the rear. A few times I puked my guts up. blech.

You'll do fine. After a few weeks, I didn't have any tummy troubles at all.

Peace and health to you,
Mickie

Re: My Doxy Schedule

Thanks Mickie

Seriously, i'm sitting here working out my daily schedule and it just stinks!

I can't believe ice cream is out of my vocab. I was pining for wine, but now I realize how much dairy does indeed play at part in my life

Looks like it is unfortified soy milk for me! Stinker! If it makes me feel better than who cares!

Re: My Doxy Schedule

is there someplace on the web i could go to that explains the best way to take doxycycline & amoxicillin, and how to effectively use Acidophilus, and how to minimize side affects?
