| Re: Tests for Lyme?
I got the name of a Dr. but I have to go back to my family Dr. and get a referral... I just want to make sure that I have enough ammo to see my Dr. I don't recall a tick bite or a rash- but prior to getting sick I spent 3 weeks at my Aunt's cottage.
can someone look over my symptoms and let me know if i'm on the right tack?
or could I just have some sort of virus which the Dr.s claim? it's been 3 months and things haven't improved- just changed....
as for symptoms... this is what I have
Unexplained weight loss - about 10 pounds over the last few months
Fatigue, tiredness, poor stamina- totally!
Swollen glands- usually under my chin
Unexplained menstrual irregularity- a bit longer cycle than usual but I just thought this was from stress
loss of libido
Chest pain- muscle pain now and then
Heart palpitations- yes, a few
Joint pain or swelling- my knucles feel swelled and sore
Stiffness of the joints, neck, or back - very much!!!
Muscle pain
Twitching of the face - yes
Headache- daily
Neck creeks and cracks, neck stiffness, neck pain- 24/7!!!
Tingling, numbness, burning or stabbing sensations, shooting pains- numb nose, numb spots down back, stabbing pains all over
Facial paralysis (Bell's Palsy)- sometimes my face feels weird but no paralysis
Eyes/Vision: double, blurry, increased floaters, light sensitivity- blurry, floaters, flashes of light
Ears/Hearing: buzzing, ringing, ear pain, sound sensitivity- major ear issues, feels blocked, rining, roaring etc. in one ear more than other
lncreased motion sickness, vertigo, poor balance- vertigo and dizziness
Tremor- sometimes i get shakey
Confusion, difficulty in thinking- sometimes
Difficulty with concentration, reading- sometimes
Forgetfulness, poor short term memory- sometimes
depression
Exaggerated symptoms or worse hangover from alcohol- can't drink at all!
additional symtpoms- head feels congested, have a low immunity and have been sick more often than usual, i have a lot of ear issues along with some nerve damge and loss of hearing on one side, my right ear feels full and I have constant ear pressure, I seem to get flare-ups every now and then - when i do- my glands get swollen and my muscles tense up, i have had many headaches and migraines and have never gotten these prior to getting ill.
