rash questions

I know lyme disease is nitorious for the bullseye rash. But can it cause other shape/different kind of rashs? I was bit in my inner leg/groin area. And off and on i keep getting what almost appears as a heat rash. The dr. looked at it b4 and said it was just a build of yeast from the antibiotics. The thing tho is i've also had this rash b4 i was on any antibiotics. The bulleye rash turned into this wierd heat rash then goes away. It comes back at random times. Is that normal?

Re: rash questions

Hi Michael, yes lyme can cause all kinds of rashes. I remember you talking about this one in piticular before. I use to get rashes that looked like a diaper rash before on my chest. That was WAYYYY before I was ever put on antibiotics. I also get rashes on my face....

It is normal...

Hope you are on the look out for a different doctor. This one sounds a little wishy washy....

Hugs...

Re: rash questions

Hello Eclipse. It's not unusual for people on abx. tx. to develop fungal infection specially roundworm. Sometimes it starts as little mosquito bite kind of thing and goes away or keeps coming back, and sometimes those little ones develops to a classic round rash. Ask your Dr. to prescribe a good anti fungal cream , like CBD ( Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate )1%/0.05%, and see what happens.
Good luck.
Tony.
